Kevin Campbell is the Manager of Fleet Services & Automotive Procurement for the City of Chicago. Since joining the department nearly 20 years ago, he has overseen vehicle / equipment acquisition activities for all City departments, with a fleet of over 6,500 motorized units and an annual replacement budget of  $60,000,000+.

Under Kevin’s leadership, the City of Chicago’s Green Fleet (alt fuel / hybrid / electric) has grown to over 3,400 units. As such, it has been recognized as one of the leading green fleets in America.

Prior to working at the City of Chicago, Kevin worked in private industry as a design engineer and project manager, and holds several patents for automotive components.

He received his B.S. in Aeronautical / Astronautical Engineering in 1993 from the University of Illinois, and was granted his Professional Engineer’s License (Mechanical) in 1998.
